in the beginning...

The idea for the Pals was conceived in September 1999 while I was waiting to adopt my first ex-racing Greyhound. I had been searching on the internet for something unique in the way of a stuffed Greyhound. After searching for some time I decided to make my own stuffed version of a Greyhound and call it a "Greyhound Pal". There was one small problem though, you see I didn't have a Greyhound of my own and I hadn't ever seen one in person. Again I found myself surfing-the-net looking for references. Finally, I found what I was looking for at one of my favorite websites run by Claudia Presto of Kanab, Utah. Claudia's website http://www.greyhoundgang.com/ frequently featured pictures of Beauty (Claudia's owner) in various poses, that was all I needed. Beauty was my inspiration, and Claudia encouraged me every step of the way! The Pals adventure had begun...

This is Beauty, Claudia's stuffed Greyhound Pal, featured here sporting a "Star's & Moons" ribbon collar. Sue Ross from Silk Road Collars sent the ribbon so the real Beauty and the "baby" Beauty would match!

The Pals can occasionally be seen on the internet and in person at various Greyhound Charity Events and Auctions where 100% of their proceeds are donated to Greyhound rescue, rehabilitation and adoption!

When you purchase a GH Pal directly from me, 40% of the proceeds are donated. The rest goes back into making more Pals!

THE HOUNDS THANK YOU!
